Some days are harder than others. And there are days when the rubber meets the road. Days that seem to last forever and days where your inner grit is the determining factor on whether you make it through or not.
There are days that change the course of your future, even if you don’t see it in the moment. Some days you have to dig deep and reflect, make decisions, and stand your ground.
Those days demand vulnerability, humility, and honesty: a realness that can’t be found in books, or counsel, or goals, or dreams, or ideas. On those days, the strength has to come from within. Even when you think you can’t find it, it’s there.
Those are days to let your scars be visible and remember the strength and courage gained through the trials.
On those days you prepare for war and march out to the battle, armed with Truth and Wisdom and Strength, days where you lay your weariness and exhaustion aside, because on those days, the battle is worth fighting.
When you’re on the precipice, you let your inner fire rage, and you remind yourself that you were made for this – God is your defender. The days are long, but the war doesn’t rage on forever.
Those days are far from easy. The road ahead is hard. But the joy found on the other side of perseverance and a relentless chasing after the Truth is worth every ounce of blood, sweat, and tears invested.
Just remember that it won’t always be like this. Be ferocious in your pursuit and intensely follow after your convictions. You’ll hear a whisper on the wind and His Light will guide your steps.
After all, the best is still yet to come! This is my battly cry!
